Blended Worship Service featuring Contemporary Music and Hymns
10:00 am to 11:00 am
During the Summer, we blend our Contemporary and Traditional Services into a single event at 10:00 am. God’s rejuvenating Spirit flows throughout our service, as we lift up his Name and Praise Him with joyful songs and hymns. Music is a pivotal part of every service at Friendship UMC.
Winter Worship Schedule:

Contemporary Service 9:00 am to 10:00 am
Traditional Service 10:45 am to 11:45 am

Sunday mornings at 11:00 am
Our Sunday morning service(s) are designed to speak to the heart of our congregation and our guests, knowing they have various tastes in music and liturgy. We use art, graphic design, videos, drama, and dance to enhance and illustrate our message that is always taken from the Bible.
During the Fall, Winter and Spring, we offer several alternatives of worship services:
- The 9:00 Contemporary Service praises God to the excellent music of the Friendship Band.
- The 10:45 Traditional Service swells with the beautiful sound of the Chancel and Bell choirs.
- Our 12:30 African-style Service (meets on 2nd & 4th Sundays) is a service of praise, prayer, and Bible based preaching. African drums, singing and dance add joy and celebration to this great new worship opportunity.
- Our Gujarati Language Service (meets on 2nd & 4th Sundays) is held the second Sunday of every month at 5:00 p.m.
