Worship Service Information
One Worship Service at 10AM
One Spirit, inspired, full of life, vibrant, touching the heart. By gathering in one place at the same time for worship, we pray we will celebrate who our God is and whom we are called to be in a more unified spirit as we seek to grow in the knowledge of God through loving, learning, and serving. Join us in person or online on Facebook or YouTube.
The Friendship Center is where we share the love: baking goodies or making up a tray of fresh fruit for the coffee fellowship time that follows Sunday morning worship. If you would like to contribute, just tell one of the servers in the kitchen and they will gladly offer a date.
Holy Communion
Holy Communion is served to all on the First Sunday of the month. We practice “open table;” no one is excluded from receiving the elements of bread and juice which represent the body and blood of Jesus Christ. If you accept Jesus in your heart, you are welcome to partake in communion at Friendship Church.
- During First Sunday, a special Celebration Offering is taken in addition to the regular offering, its purpose is to pay forward a special blessing to those in need, in the name of the extra blessing God placed in your life. Envelopes are provided for you to personally name your blessing.
- Food Pantry Sunday. Worshipers are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items that will help stock local food pantries shelves. Food items are distributed to our West Suburban Food Pantry in Woodridge.
